HiPerGuard

HiPerGuard is a medium-voltage UPS for multi-megawatt critical facilities. Its impedance-isolated static converter (ZISC) architecture conditions utility disturbances and provides stored-energy backup. Each unit supplies 2.5 MW, with up to ten units paralleled for 25 MW. Voltage classes extend to 24 kV, and ABB specifies 98% efficiency at 50–100% loading under nominal conditions.
